Looking Beyond
Looking Back: What happened?
Our rocket turned out pretty well. When we first started building it we had some troubles getting it put together. After we got passed that and we finished it. But then we had a problem putting the engine in the butt of the rocket. the tube it needed to go in wasn't big enough, So we had to shove it in there in order for it to launch. After we launched the rocket our parachute didn't open, So when our rocket launched it came shooting down.
Looking inward: Humans doing science - Lab Practice
It did work. I did get the results I wanted. We got our rocket to launch pretty high. At first we didn't think we could get our rocket to launch because we had a part missing for the engine to go in. But after we got that in we got out rocket to launch.
Looking outward: Collaboration and Impact
For my rocket project I worked with Isabelle . I think me an Isabelle did a good job of sharing the work and not making one person do all the work and then one person just sitting there. When we faced challenges we work them out and got help from the teacher.
Looking Forward: What next?
If you could do this again, what would you change to get better results?
For this is I would say I would want to build a model rocket from scratch so I could make it my own and put different type of parts and not do the model parts. I feel like building it my own makes it stronger and work better because your in charge of putting all the parts on
Take aways:
I feel like the take aways I gained from this is learning about and how to build rockets. Also I learned how to all about the different parts of a rocket and how it works.
